For over 100 years Electrocoagulation has been used as an effective solution for the removal of heavy metals and suspended solids in wastewater treatment. To this date most electrocoagulation systems were developed around a “one size fits all” solution. After extensive research and testing most operators and customers today are looking more towards developing multi stage systems of different sizes and style reaction chambers to accommodate any size job. Using this variable sizing electrocoagulation design utilizing different electrode configuration that is custom built to fit the unique system and flow requirement of each individual client allows for no down time for the cleaning and replacement of electrodes. Also as smaller reaction chambers will run in parallel if one needs servicing this design allows for the system to maintain perpetual operations.
